I thought about starting my first blog on a Monday because that’s the first day of the week, but I guess I break all the rules of normality.
I am a lover of M.A.C products. The packaging, the quality of the formula, the authenticity of the brand – what more can you ask for? Whether it’s working throughout the week or my days off, these are my desert island products.
If you know me you know that I love a minimal, simple look. It starts right from my foundation. I prefer a sheer coverage and a natural, radiant finish. The M.A.C Lightful C Tinted Cream SPF30 is what I reach for to meet these needs. It hydrates and brightens the skin and provides sun protection too. It helps even out the skin tone and is a great day-to-day foundation.
A full night’s sleep is definitely something I need to work on. Aside from the obligatory morning caffeine to make me feel alive in the morning, I also use the M.A.C Prep & Prime Highlighter to brighten my under eye area. There is a range of skin colours and colour correcting shades that can really cater to each individual’s skin tone. No one likes tired, dark eyes right?
To set my makeup I use the M.A.C Mineralize Skinfinish Powder. The product is exactly that – a skin finish. So natural to the skin that you could never look “cakey” or over-powdered. This works well with my skin as it is a very hydrating powder.
I am obsessed with the M.A.C Extended Play Mascara for my lashes as it separates and defines my lashes and enhances the length at the same time. The real magic however comes from the M.A.C False Lash Maximizer as an undercoat to my mascara. It is the ultimate mascara base. It nourishes the lashes and really pumps the volume to my mascara. I will never be able to do my mascara without this product ever again!
